  IBBL launches mobile banking service

Dhaka : Islami Bank Bang-ladesh Limited (IBBL) launched mobile banking service "Islami Bank mCash," under which any telecom operator customers can get banking services anytime anywhere in Bangladesh.
IBBL is the third bank that launched the mobile banking service in the country, officials said. Md Abul Quasem, Deputy Governor, Bangla-desh Bank (BB) launched the mCash at a ceremony held at a city hotel with Mohammad Abdul Mannan Managing Director, IBBL in the chair.
Dasgupta Asim Kumar, Executive Director of the central bank and Engineer Md Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman of IBBL Executive Committee were the special guests at the launching ceremony, which was also addressed, among others, by Mohammad Abul Bashar, IBBL Deputy Mana-ging Director and Mahtab Uddin Ahmed of Robi Axiata Ltd.
Mominul Islam Patwary, Prof Nazrul Islam, Md. Abdus Salam and Humayun Bokhte-yar, Directors of Islami Bank, among others, attended the function.
