Dhaka : In a delayed action, the management of Biman Bangladesh Airline Limited (Biman) has selected four MD and CEO applicants for physical interview.
More than six months ago Biman invited application for the post of MD and CEO. Including 30 Bangladeshis, 43 persons applied for the post. Of them Biman short listed 9 several months ago.
Following recent video-interview, the list of candidate has been down sized further, to only four.
These four candidates have been invited to appear before the selection committee on January four in Dhaka.
It may be noted here that, the situation in management level manpower in Biman is so precarious that it would rather impossible for even extra-efficient MD and CEO to create any impact. There is great need to hire efficient people for a number of key positions.
