Dhaka : You have crisscrossed the city and but have been unable to find the attires of your choice for this year's festive celebrations. It's time for you to go to Zaara Fashions Mall at Haque Plaza near Gulshan 1 Circle in the city.
The Mall, formally inaugurated four years ago by Bollywood film star Amisha Patel, has an irresistible array of sarees, three-pieces, lehengas, salwar suits, panjabis, sherwanis, fatuas, shirts, trousers, Western fashion, children's wear, dresses for boys and girls, cosmetics, perfumes and jewelleries for you to choose from.
You would find it difficult to decide as Zaara Fashions Mall, which prides itself as a house of exclusive fashions, as it has indeed an alluring array of fashionable apparels for women, men and children.
"Our outfits, which are both traditional and fashionable, are selling well as they have done over these four years. Our new Eid collection is unique," said Shishir Ahmed, Company Secretary.
The sarees and lehengas have been sourced from cities of India_ New Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Varanasi, Chennai and Hyderabad_ while the shoes and purses to go with the dresses from Pakistan.
Dresses for children, boys and girls are mostly from China and Thailand as well as from India.
Sherwanis and Panjabis are mainly from Mumbai featuring the brands of Dennis Parker, Raaga and Rod. Suits, formal shirts and men accessories are from Italy, UK, US, Germany, Singapore and Dubai while casual shirts from Thailand, Ma-laysia, India and UK.
"You name any brand like Pierre Cardin, Christian Dior, Canali, we have them," Shishir Ahmed said, adding "Levis, Wranglers and Pepe Jeans also sell very well."
"A large number of elite people including celebrities do their Eid and other shopping here, be it for festivals like the two Eids or when there is a marriage in their families."
"We have some 500 select patrons who would not go anywhere else for their shopping. We are also attracting new customers ahead of this year's Eid-ul-Fitr as our new collection contains some 'never seen before' dresses."
"We have also announced a 20 per cent discount for this year's Eid. But the discounts are not applicable for cosmetics and perfumes," Shishir Ahmed added.
