  New TRIAB body starts functioning July 1

Dhaka : The newly elected committee of Tourism Resort Industries Association of Bangladesh (TRIAB) has started functioning from July 1, 2012 for three years term.
Khabir Uddin Ahmed has been elected as the President of TRIAB. Others elected are : Kibria Jahangir- Sr. Vice President; Prof. Jahangir-Vice President; Md. Zakariya Hussain-Vice President; Mohammad Ali-General Secretary; Adv. Abul Kalam Azad-Treasurer; James Babu Hazra-Joint Secretary; Aminul Islam Bhuiyan-Organising Secretary; Nuruzzaman Babul-Secretary Press and Publications and Irfan Ahmed-International Affairs Secretary.
The new TRIAB body recently met Moammad Faruk Khan, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism (MOCAT) for formal introduction. Ataharul Istam, Secretary MOCAT; Hemayet Uddin Talukdar, Chairman, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and Akhtaruz Zaman Khan Kabir, CEO of Bangladesh Tourism Board were also present, during the introduction.
