First A380 service to Scandinavia by Emirates
-A Monitor Report Dubai : Emirates Airline announced the launch of a daily A380 service to Copenhagen. AI pilots warn of danger from aging aircraft

China Eastern reports net profit up 45pc in 2014
_A Monitor Report Shanghai : China Eastern Airlines reported a net profit of CNY3.42 billion in 2014, up 45 per cent over a net income of CNY2.38 billion in 2013. China Southern reports 6.4pc profit drop in 2014
_A Monitor Report Guangzhou : China Southern Airlines has reported a net profit of CNY1.8 billion in 2014, down 6.4 per cent over a net income of CNY1.89 billion in 2013. Operating revenue jumped 10.4 per cent to CNY108.31 billion against a 9.3 per cent increase in operating expenses to CNY95.15 billion.
